Incredible footage has emerged of renowned wingsuit flyer Alexander Polli navigating his way through a narrow cave at speeds of up to 250km/h on a rugged mountainside in Spain The jaw-dropping video, which was uploaded to YouTube yesterday, begins with Polli jumping from a helicopter hovering above the Roca Foradaad Mountains in Montserrat, Spain.
He free-falls for about 20 seconds before approaching the cave -- which is no wider than himself -- at frightening speeds.
Polli seamlessly pulls off the move and flies directly through the narrow opening of the cave.
The Italian-Norwegian athlete said he hoped his success would inspire others not only to "climb over their mountains, but also to fly right through them".
This is not the first time daredevils have been filmed attempting dangerous wingsuit jumps -- with some coming closer to death than they would have liked.
