Police and anti-austerity protesters clashed during a 'march for dignity' in Barcelona on Sunday. Thousands of demonstrators engaged in running skirmishes with baton-wielding riot police as the protest broke up in chaotic scenes.
While several casualties were reported by activists, authorities have not confirmed how many were injured on either side.
